Services

  • Financial Planning

We all have dreams or at least ideas about what we want in life. Unfortunately, not everyone has a plan on how they will achieve these dreams.

Through financial planning, we will define your current financial reality and then determine what needs to be done so you can make all your goals & dreams a reality.

Working together, we’ll discuss what’s important to you about money and what you want to accomplish. From this work, I’ll create investment and savings strategies that we’ll implement together so you can build a strong and ever growing financial foundation for yourself and your family.

  • Investment Solutions

Investing is the act of using money to make more money. There are many investment tools available to help you do just that. My role as your financial advisor is to determine which of the hundreds of products available will serve your needs best.

When recommending a particular product, whether its mutual funds, managed accounts, annuities, or CDs, I’ll ensure that you understand what that product can do for you, the advantages and drawbacks associated with it, as well as the cost and how it fits into your overall financial plan.

  • Protection Planning

Most everyone can benefit from protection planning because, it’s not an “if” but a “when” life happens to us. From determining what type of insurance you might need to recommending the most appropriate products, we’ll make sure you and your family are covered.

  • Estate Planning Services

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest division at Money Matters Wealth, our Estate Planning Division. Divorce Financial Planning

  • Why DFP?

Financial planning is considered a key component in securing the long-term financial wellbeing of our families. However, when faced with the prospect of divorce, the need for financial planning becomes even more critical.

Your short- and long-term goals can change dramatically and you’ll likely be forced to reexamine your financial future with facts that may be drastically different from your status as a married person.  Having a clear and accurate understanding of your current financial situation is crucial to making informed decisions about the dissolution of your marriage and division of your assets.

Your attorney will guide you on legal issues and your therapist will help you emotionally. As your CDFA, I’ll help you understand the financial aspects of your divorce.

  • What is DFP?

Divorce financial planning focuses on developing financial strategies that can help you achieve the best possible divorce settlement for your personal situation. We define your expenses, cash flow, marital assets and debts. Then we evaluate how different settlement options might impact your financial position today as well as over the next several years. By tapping into my extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with critical financial decisions in divorce, you’ll be made fully aware of your options, the true value of your assets and how your decisions in divorce will impact your finances. This information can help you avoid costly mistakes that cannot be undone once the divorce is finalized.

Divorce Mediation

Divorce financial mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution that has become a familiar and accepted way to resolve differences in recent years. In mediation, you can settle issues by discussion and communication and reach a negotiated settlement. This includes a willingness to compromise, but does not involve trial, testimony, evidence or a prolonged litigation process and a trial before a Judge. In mediation, you decide your future. It is particularly beneficial in divorce situations where the parties need to maintain ongoing family relations.
